Antrim Construction was founded in 1984 and has become one of the largest and best equipped disaster restoration firms in Alberta. With major investments in new technology and employee education, Antrim continues to provide the insurance industry and their policy holders with superior services.

Community Involvement

2014 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Edmonton
 
Antrim Construction has been a sponsor for several World Cup Triathlon events in Edmonton since 2001. 2014 is an exciting year for Edmonton to be named Host City for the World Triathlon Grand Final for Elite Men and Women, and World Triathlon Championships for Under 23 , Juniors, Elite Para Tri and Age Group athletes. Edmonton will host more than 150 Elite athletes, over 4000 Age Group athletes and 100,000 spectators  - all with an economic impact for Edmonton of $23 Million.
 
Antrim provides financial and in kind sponsorship to the Local Organizing Committee as well as a customized van to the Edmonton Triathlon Academy, which is funded partly by the legacy from major events. Internationally, triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports and last year's Grand Final in London attracted some 225,000 spectators around Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

Pipes and Drums of the Edmonton Police Service

Antrim has assisted the Pipe Band in fundraising efforts to assist with travels to Northern Ireland in 2010 and at the Annual Burns Supper that is enjoyed by approximately 400 people in January of each year. In 2013 the Pipe Band awarded Antrim Construction President, Kieran Kelly the title of Honorary Drum Major. The future plans for the band involve a trip with the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry to commemorate the 1St World War with visits to sites in France and Belgium.

Edmonton Scottish Major League Soccer Team

The Edmonton Scottish Soccer team is an amateur team that competes in the Alberta Major League. They have been successful in 2012 and 2013 in being Alberta Provincial Champions and travelling to the Canadian National Championships in Winnipeg in 2012 where they won the Silver Medal in the final game which went to a penalty shoot out. In 2013 the National Event took place in Halifax, NS and the team placed 7th. As Antrim and the team look forward to another successful year we are assisting in growth for the future with the addition of a Junior Program to provide new young players to continue to be a dominating team in Alberta and Nationally.
